Foynes & District Community Council: We are holding “A Taste of Christmas” cookery demonstration night with chef Deidre Doody on Friday the 29th of November at 7.30pm.Tickets are €10 and available from Grainne Walsh,Rochelle Conroy and Foynes Pharmacy.We promise a great night out! Thanks to Reidys Centra for Sponsoring the demonstration. On December 1st we are holding our first Christmas Market.We have over 20 stalls confirmed and for one day only Santa will have his grotto in the community centre.We will also have kids entertainment and carol singing.

Day Trip To Dublin: On Sunday 24th November, a coach will leave Newcastle West at 8am. A day to do as you please, meet a friend, take in the sights, ie museums, Trinity College or just browse around. West Limerick 102FM: West Limerick 102FM are holding a great ceili night on Friday 22nd November in the Community Centre Knockaderry at 9pm. Music by Donie Nolan.

Salesian College: There will be workshops on Cyberbullying given by Maureen Edel Griffin, Forensic Psychologist, next Monday the 18th of November for all year groups in Salesian Secondary College, Pallaskenry. There will also be a talk at 19:30 for parents in the school hall.

There is a CAO night for parents of 6th Year students this Thursday, the 14th of November at 7:30 in Salesian Secondary College, Pallaskenry School Hall. 6thyear students are expected to attend the talk with their parents.

Bliain Na Gaeilge 2013 – A ‘Céilí Mór’ will be held in Halla na Scoile, Salesian Secondary College, Pallaskenry on Friday, 15th November 2013 at 8pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Car Boot Sale: The monthly Car Boot Sale and indoor market in aid of WL102FM will take place on Sunday 24th November at the Community Centre Newcastle West (beside the GAA pitch).
