LIONS RUN: On Wednesday night September 11 the Shannon & District Lions is holding its annual run/walk in Shannon. This event includes a 10k run and a 5k run/walk. The event will start from Shannon Leisure Centre. Online booking was available on the Runireland website but now forms can be got at the Leisure Centre. Registration will take palce the day before at the Leisure Centre from 5.30pm to 6.30pm sharp. Support local charities and take part.
RADIO MASS: This Sunday the RTE Radio Live Mass Broadcast will be from Mary Immaculate church at 11am. Live coverage will be available on RTE Radio 1 LW and Radio 1 extra.
ALL IRELAND: For anyone who isn’t travelling to Croke Park this Sunday the atmosphere of the All-Ireland is coming to Ennis. Ennis Town Council has confirmed that the Abbey Street Car Park will host large crowds of hurling enthusiasts who’ll watch Clare take on Cork on a big screen, with entertainment getting underway at 2.30pm, an hour before throw-in. Free parking will be offered at a number of locations throughout the town. Hopefully Aaron Cunningham will be recovered from injury to take part in the game. Best of luck!
The town is gradually being decorated in the Clare colours so don’t forget put out your bunting and flags.
MONTHS MIND: The months mind mass for Steve McKee, Tullyvarraga Court is on Saturday evening at 6.30pm in SS John & Paul church. For Jim Evans, Tola Park on Sunday at 12.15pm also in SS John & Paul church.

FURTHER EDUCATION: St. Patrick’s Comprehensive Further Education Sector is now enrolling for courses in Business Administration, Childcare & Health as well as Sports & Recreation.
Courses are run at FETAC/QQI and level 5. Students holding a Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied may apply. Courses are also open to Mature Students, Leaving Certificate is not required.
CAMOGIE: Congratulations to local girl Elaine Gallery who captained the Dublin camogie team to All-Ireland junior success recently.
CHOIRS: Adult Choir Practice resumes on Thursday at 7.30pm in SS John & Paul Church. A radio mass Choir Practice takes place from 7pm to 8pm on Thursday in Mary Immaculate church.
