The Annual Senior Citizens’ party took place on Sunday, January 20 in Keating’s Red Setter lounge. We would like to thank Martin and Eileen Keating for their hospitality on the day. We would also like to thank Ann’s Diner for the beautiful meal they provided. A special word of thanks to all who provided spot prizes, to Tom O’Donoghue and his merry bunch of Cowboys for all the entertainment on the day, along with all the people who went up and told stories and sang songs. We would also like to thank all the people who helped on the day.

It was a great day for people to mingle with their friends some of whom use the day as a chance to catch up as some may have not met in the last 12 months. This is a great social occasion in the parish and long may the organisers be able to keep this annual party going on a yearly basis.

Castlemahon Development will also be holding a table quiz in March. More details next week.
