We didn’t win any accolades on the field at the 88th running of the National
Coursing meeting which was held last weekend at Powerstown Park in
Clonmel. However Bridget Frank (nee Reidy) won the Best Dressed Lady
Award and the Oaks was sponsored by the Greyhound and Pet World of
Killaculleen and Abbeyfeale. Then there were the people from the parish
who stayed and enjoyed the social scene in Chawke’s, Moynihan’s, the
Coachman’s and the Park.
