BEREAVEMENT: The death occurred recently of Eddie Vaughan, Carnane. Removal took place from Cross’s Funeral Home Ballyneety to Fedamore church. Burial took place in the new cemetery Fedamore. Sympathy is extended to all his relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
PRAYERS FOR STUDENTS DOING EXAMS: Support and prayers for all involved. Pray cards can be filled in and placed in the basket marked “For the Altar”. Fr. Mike will put this basked on the altar each time he says mass and pray for students who are presently doing exams. We urge as many as possible to take a card and pray.
SOCCER: On Thursday evening last Castle Rovers played Cappamore in the final of the Division 2A Lipper Cup in Jackman Park. Cappamore scores the first goal, but within minutes were awarded a penalty. Ciaran Fitzgerald scored from the penalty spot making it 1 – 1. All players gave their all, but Cappamore scored a second goal. Final score 2 – 1. Well done to everybody involved.
LOTTO: Castle Rovers weekly lotto draw was held in The Ranch Bar. Numbers drawn were 6 – 20 – 21 – 234. Two players with Match 3 - Craig & Leah Mc Namara. Thank you for your continued support.
