Weekday Mass times: Monday – Friday at 9.45am

(First Fridays – 9.45am and 7pm)

Holy Days of Obligation: 7pm Vigil Mass on eve, 9.30am and 11am

Baptisms: Saturday at 5pm or Sunday at 1.30pm (by arrangement)

Confessions: Saturday 6.30pm – 7pm

Baptisms: We welcome into the Parish Community those who were baptised recently: Ralph Kearney, son of Peter and Julia of Newtown Park, Annacotty. Freya Galvin, daughter of Dermot and Maria of Killonan, Ballysimon. Aoife Halley, daughter of Oliver and Aisling of Newtown Park, Annacotty.

Wedding: Heartiest congratulations to: Adrian Healy, son of Martin and Virginia of Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, and Karen McInerney, daughter of Terence (R.I.P.) and Kathleen of Clonmacken, Ennis Road. We wish Adrian and Karen a long and happy life together.

Mass of Thanksgiving: Mass on Saturday, October 12th at 7pm will be a Mass of Thanksgiving for Fr. Michael O’Shea and his Ministry in Monaleen. There will be refreshments in the Kilmurry Lodge after the Mass. All are welcome – Monaleen Pastoral Council.

Volunteers needed: Please consider being a Minister of the Eucharist. Your Church needs you. There is a rota of Ministers of the Eucharist in operation - the commitment is usually once a month and the rota is generally made to suit the Ministers as far as possible. If anyone is interested in becoming a Eucharistic Minister, please contact Msg. Neenan.

Kilmurry Art Group: The Kilmurry Art Group recommenced on Mondays at 8.00pm in the Old Kilmurry Church (Behind the Hurlers.) All are most welcome.

Cumann na bhFiann: “Cumann na bhFiann” (the largest nationwide youth service through Irish) started up recently in the Milford Community Gym. It is a youth group ran by leaders from Colaiste na bhFiann on a weekly basis. Teenagers have the opportunity to attend the weekly group, speak Irish outside the classroom and enjoy themselves at the same time. It is a fully supervised event run by leaders from Colaiste na bhFiann for age 12 – 18 year olds and takes place in Milford Hall every Thursday from 7.30pm – 9pm.

Monaleen GAA: Beginners Hurling and Football – All new players are welcome to come along and try out hurling and football in October. The new groups which cater for senior infant pupils onwards take place every Monday at 6.30pm for Football and every Friday at 6.30pm for hurling. Training takes place in the Monaleen GAA clubhouse pitch. Note that helmets are mandatory for hurling and the club sells helmets and hurls at discounted price. Gum shields are mandatory for Gaelic football. Email with any queries. We would also encourage any parents interested in helping out to come along on the night or contact the club PRO to get details.

ICA Castletroy: ICA Castletroy is meeting on Tuesday October 15 at 8pm in Monaleen GAA Club. All Ladies welcome.
