Bereavement Information Evening: A Bereavement Information Evening will take place on Tuesday, May 28th at 7.00pm until 8.30pm in Milford Care Centre, 1st Floor, New Day Care Building, Seminar Rooms, 1 and 2. For more information about the night contact Mary O’ Sullivan on 061-485800.

Gaelscoil Chaladh an Treoigh: Pupils of Rang II and Rang VI, (Communion & Confirmation classes ) of Gaelscoil Chaladh an Treoigh recently donated €328 to Monaleen Cancer Support Group, which is a voluntary organisation established in 2009. Their aim is to provide practical support to families and friends touched by cancer in Monaleen Parish. The support group were delighted to receive their generous donation from the local Gaelscoil.

Monaleen Parish Directory: The latest edition of our Parish Directory is now available to be downloaded from It contains information on all pastoral, social, sporting, cultural, and other voluntary resources in Monaleen, along with information on educational, welfare, postal and other community services. A small quantity have been printed for those who have not access to our website.

Charity Cycle 33K: There will be a charity cycle in aid of Cliona’s Foundation, in memory of Ciara McCarthy on Saturday 1st June. The cycle will commence from Boher Community Centre at 7pm. Registration at 6.30pm. Refreshments will be served following the cycle.
