ST PATRICKS DAY PARADE: The second annual St. Patricks Day Parade will take place on Sunday next at 3pm .Last year parade was an outstanding success and it is hoped that this years parade will be as good if not better.A good many improvements have been made with live music in the village and a pig being roasted for a barbeque in the park after the parade sponsored by Sean Fitzgerald Butcher.Children can enjoy themselves with the many swings etc in the park.Everyone is open to bring along their float,fancy dress and bands to make for a great evening of celebrations.
Death: Sympathy is extended to the O Dwyer family Ballintubber on the death of their Aunt Hanny O Dwyer.She is deeply mourned by her nephews,nieces,and relatives,neighbours and friends and especially by her many friends at Ballylanders Day Care Centre where she was a regular attender for many years.
