ALL here at the Holman Lee Agency are really looking forward to the Rose of Tralee fashion show in the Dome in Tralee on Sunday, August 16. I am very proud of the fact that we have been part of this festival for so many years. A group of more than 30 people including 26 models and production crew will all travel by coach to Tralee early Sunday morning. This is the biggest autumn/winter fashion show in Ireland with an estimated audience of 1,500 plus in attendance.
If you are looking to start shopping for autumn/winter then this is one fashion show you should not miss, with more than 23 fashion shops and eight of Ireland’s top designers participating you certainly won’t be stuck for choice when it comes to fashion.
We hope you can make it and if you are looking for tickets for the show just click on the Rose of Tralee website.
ON another note, I am back again this autumn doing the stings for Downton Abbey in association with Oxendales and TV3. When I met with the production crew there was a suggestion that they would like to include a beautiful young actress to play my niece.
The search began and I am delighted tell you all that the actress that they chose is a singer, a dancer, a journalist, a TV personality, a fitness guru and a very popular blogger - of course it is Limerick’s own Leanne Moore. Leanne and I will be filming for the stings later this month and you can catch us in October when Downton appears back on your TV screens.
The Hugh Campbell hair group will be responsible for creating the mood and the look of the hair and all the beautiful clothes will be provided by Oxendales. This is one project that I am really looking forward!
