PLAY CONTINUES: Very big crowds are attending the Hillside Players production of the comedy “Second Honeymoon” by Sam Cree which ran in the Community Centre from Thursday through to Sunday of last week. The play will run again this week from Thursday January 30th to Sunday February 2nd, curtain 8pm sharp. It is advisable to book seats in advance, line open from Wednesday to Sunday 5.30 to 7.30pm 087-765 5771, admission : Adults €8 Children €3.
The Canavour Players, Ballinvreena open their production of “Its the Real McCoy” on Thursday night January 30th to Sunday February 2nd at 8.30pm in the Community Centre, Ballinvreena, so lots of local entertainment into early February.
WALKS: Aherlow Winter Walking Festival based at Aherlow House Hotel, takes place this weekend 1st and 2nd of February, “A”, “B”, and “C” walks each day, information from Helen at 086-831 4443. Ballyhoura Bears have curtailed their weekend walks so that members can attend Aherlow, the “C” walk on Saturday from Ardpatrick, Community Centre will set off at 11am, 087-900 2152, the Thursday night from Glenanaar car park is at 7.30.
