Met Éireann says it will be windy today with fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds, veering southwesterly, with gales on coasts in the south at first.
Cloudy with outbreaks of showery rain during the morning, heaviest in the south with spot flooding possible. Highest temperatures in the early afternoon of 9 to 13 degrees before cooler, drier and brighter conditions extend from the southwest.
It is forecast to be breezy tonight with fresh and gusty southwest winds but largely dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees.
It will be another windy day on Tuesday with sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy with the possibility of hail. Southwest winds will be fresh to strong and gusty with gales on Atlantic coasts. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.
