Virgin Media has opened casting for a brand-new series of Help Me Buy a Home, as the hit show prepares to return to Irish screens.
The popular series is now on the lookout for hopeful house hunters from all corners of Ireland who are trying to navigate the often confusing and stressful process of buying a home.
Whether you’re mortgage-approved and ready to go, knee-deep in paperwork, or scrolling Daft.ie wondering “where do I even begin?”, the show’s producers say this could be your chance to get expert help and real guidance.
Buyer’s agent Liz O’Kane is back for the new series and will once again guide participants through every step of the home-buying journey. From exploring new locations to weighing up fixer-uppers versus new builds, Liz helps buyers see possibilities they may never have considered, while breaking down the process in plain English.
The show tackles everything from finding the right property to dealing with surveys, solicitor fees and the dreaded mountain of paperwork, all with the aim of helping people make smart, confident decisions.
Fan favourites PJ and Kevin from I’m Grand Mam are also returning, bringing their trademark Cork humour and no-nonsense approach. Representing those who feel locked out of the housing market, the duo won’t be afraid to ask the questions viewers at home want answered.
Blending human-interest stories with expert insight, Help Me Buy a Home offers practical pathways to homeownership and a clearer understanding of the Irish housing market. The series also features easy-to-follow explainers on government schemes and the real-life steps involved in buying a home.
Those interested in taking part are encouraged to get in touch with the production team. Anyone who would like to apply can contact Animo TV by email at Home@animotv.ie.
