An American tourist is in serious condition in hospital after he fell from cliffs in Howth, county Dublin, on Wednesday evening.
It's understood the man, in his 20s, fell almost 30 feet as he was climbing up a cliff near Whitewater beach.
It's believed the man's family were with him at the time of the incident who quickly alerted emergency services.

Gardaí say they assisted emergency services including the Coast Guard, Dublin Fire Brigade, and the RNLI, with the medical emergency that occurred in the Howth cliffs area at approximately 7:30pm on Wednesday.
The man was airlifted to the Mater hospital where he is believed to be in a serious but stable condition.
