A motorist who was stopped on Irish roads this week was found to be committing a multitude of offences while being high on drugs.
The dangerous driver was stopped by Gardaí in Roscommon on Monday after a quick scan found no tax, insurance or NCT. Once the driver was pulled over, Gardaí conducted a roadside drugs test and the irresponsible driver tested positive for cocaine and opiates, which could from heroin or powerful pain relievers such as Oxycontin.
The car was immediately seized, the driver was arrested, and a court date will follow.

Earlier this week, Gardaí in Dublin detained minibikes from a father and daughter after they discovered neither of the drivers had insurance for the vehicles.
In a post on An Garda Síochána's X page, gardaí said they were on patrol in Sandyford when they spotted the man riding the minibike that was "unregistered for road use."
In addition to being unregistered for road use, the man admitted to having no insurance for the minibike once he was pulled over.
