Aer Lingus launch huge summer sale for flights to US and Europe - but there's a catch

Aer Lingus launched its huge summer sale on Monday, 9 June with a wide variety of European and American fares on offer until next Tuesday, 17 June.

Passengers can save up to 20% on flights to popular destinations such as New York, Orlando, Boston, Paris, London, Tenerife and so much more.

However, there is a catch. The deals are only available for flights between 1 August and 22 October. Although, as this is becoming an increasingly popular time for many people to take time off for their holidays, it could be perfect timing for a lot of people.

There are some great savings to be made on US fares as you can fly from Dublin to New York for just €194.04 in September. Likewise, prices start at the same cost for flights from Dublin to Boston at the same time year.

If Orlando, Florida is more up your alley, prices start at €252.59 from Dublin. 

There's even more options if you're looking to travel within Europe. Aer Lingus have a huge selection of fares on offer across Europe departing from Dublin Airport, Cork Airport and Shannon Airport as part of this special summer sale. 

Prices start from as little as €31.20 and go up as far as €100 for European destinations. 

You can travel from Dublin Airport to Amsterdam for just €34.40, Paris for €38.40, Rome for €49.60 or Athens for €58.40 - all one way.

From Cork Airport, you could travel to Malaga for €54.97 or Tenerife for €55.77. Shannon Airport has just two options for London from €52.65 and Paris from €55.45.
