The Divisional Drugs Unit in Dublin South Central were conducting a routine checkpoint in the South Inner City on Thursday, April 24, when they spotted a food delivery rider on an electric bike cycling off away from them.
Making the gardaí suspicious, when they tried to approach the man he then attempted to evade them on foot.
Upon catching up with the rider, he was apprehended and searched.

This led gardaí to discover roughly €14,000 worth of a range of drugs such as cocaine, LSD, ketamine and MDMA all separated into bags, which they say were ready for illegal sale.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said, "The man (20s) was arrested under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996 and has now been charged."
