Center Parcs Ireland visitors selling day passes on Facebook hit with stark warning
Guests heading to Center Parcs Longford Forest for a mid-term of summer holiday this year have been warned against misusing day passes.
People booked in for an extended stay at the hugely popular Longford attraction can bring friends or family to join them for a day only with the handy day passes. The day passes used to be open to the general public at Center Parcs resorts in the UK but were halted due to demand and crowds.
Despite the stipulation that people should only book day passes for family and friends, the facility has had to issue a warning after reports of people selling day passes on Facebook and other social media.
A guest can add the day pass to their booking before providing the personal details and car registration of their family and friends joining them, but it appears the function is being abused.
In an update on their website, Center Parcs Ireland say: "Day visitor passes are only available for close family and friends and not available to sell to the general public.

"Guests found to be actively selling day visitor passes on social media or other channels will be asked to leave the resort without a refund."
People genuinely booking day passes are also being advised that they are limited and to add them to their booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
