An appeal for help in locating a 12-year-old old girl who was missing from her home for more than 36 hours has been stood down, gardai have confirmed.
Bianca Brady from Blackrock in Dundalk, County Louth was reported missing at around 11pm on Saturday sparking an urgent public appeal for assistance on Sunday evening.
A number of searches were conducted after she was reported missing and in an update, issued this Monday evening, gardai confirmed there has been a positive development.
"Bianca Brady, 12 years, who was missing from Blackrock, County Louth, since Saturday, January 11 2025, has been found safe and well," said a spokesperson.
No further information has disclosed publicly by gardai who have thanked the members of the public and the media for their assistance with the appeal.
