Festive pillow stocked in Irish stores across the country recalled over choking hazard

The Irish CCPC (Competition and Consumer Protection Commission) have issued a recall for a festive Gingerbread Shaped Assorted Cushion that is stocked in a retailer that has multiple stores across Ireland.

The pillow is stocked in The Range, which has 7 stores across Ireland and the recall was issued on the 20th of December 2024.

From the CCPC:

"The risk reported to the CCPC is that of choking. The red pom poms can easily detach and form small parts. A child may place the small part in their mouth and choke.

The SKU is 076123. The batch number is CSL 53324. The brand is unknown.

There are approximately 246 affected products in the Republic of Ireland."

Customer advice:

Customers should stop using the product immediately and return it to any of The Range stores for a full refund.
