Separate searches for two teenagers who had been reported missing have been stood down after gardai issued positive updates.

Alicia Stokes, aged 14, was reported missing from her home in Cappoquin, County Waterford earlier this week while Fergus Harty, aged 13, was reported as missing from his home in Ballymore, County Westmeath on November 19.

Separate appeals for help in locating the teenagers were issued earlier this month with gardai confirming, this Friday night, that both searches and appeals have now been stood down.

In separate updates, they confirmed that both Alicia and Fergus have been located "safe and well" and that not further action is required.
