RIP: Christina McEvoy was last seen on November 8. Her car was found close to Liscannor four days later
Gardaí have stood down the search for a missing Cork woman following the tragic discovery of a body.
Christina McEvoy, aged 45, was reported missing from Mallow, in north county Cork since Friday, November 8.
Her car, a blue Honda, was discovered four days later parked at Kilconnell, Liscannor, county Clare on Tuesday November 12.
In an update shared this Thursday morning, November 21, gardaí said the search for Ms McEvoy has been stood down.

"Following the discovery of a woman’s body, the missing person appeal for 45-year-old Christina McEvoy, who was missing from Mallow, County Cork since Friday, 8th November 2024, has been stood down," a garda spokesperson said.
"No further information is available at this time.
"Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance," the statement concluded.
