Gardaí are urging anyone driving to Electric Picnic this year to follow "dedicated routes" to the festival.
An Garda Síochána have shared their interactive map specially created to help festival-goers to plan their journey in advance.
"We are encouraging you not to use SAT NAV and to follow the dedicated routes shown on the map below,"
"Garda resources are allocated to these routes to get you to Electric Picnic 2024 in a safe and timely manner," they shared on social media.
They are also " strongly encouraging" people to travel to the site at Stradbally by public transport where possible.
Car parks for those driving will open for early entry ticket holders from 4pm on Thursday, August 15, and from 9am on Friday, August 16, until 4pm on Monday, August 19, for all general ticket holders.
Tow-away vehicles will be in operation for the duration of the festival to remove any illegally parked vehicle and those causing obstruction, according to An Garda Síochána's official traffic and travel plan.
Gardaí said they will be "doing their utmost to keep travel dispruption and diversions to an absolute minimum".
