An air and sea rescue is underway since Monday evening for a kayaker missing off the coast of Waterford.
The kayaker set out from Ceann Heilbhic near Dungarvan at around 11.30am on Monday morning, August 11.
The alarm was raised with the Coast Guard after 5pm that evening.
A search was launched by Marine Rescue Coordination Centre in Dublin ,with support from local lifeboat services and rescue helicopter R117.
Naval vessel LÉ Aoibhinn is coordinating the operation.
