Broadcaster Pat Kenny was joined by Jane Cowen to explain why her generation, Gen Z "can't make a phone call."
Sharing a clip from The Pat Kenny Show to TikTok, Jane said: "It is so foreign to us. Like it feels outdated. It's like that is how my parents communicate. All through my teenager years when I was in secondary school, if I wanted to talk to my friends I would text them on Snapchat."

Jane continued: "You are not going to be caught off guard much like if you are on the phone you have to answer then and there. If I am texting I can respond when I want to.
