Tributes have poured in for a young Dublin mother who tragically passed away.

Leah Fagan, from Dublin, suddenly passed away on July 30.

Leah will be sadly missed by her adored daughter Heidi, as well as by her family and many friends.

To help cover the costs of Leah’s funeral and “lighten the financial burden on her family” as much as they can, her friends have set up a GoFundMe campaign, to which you can donate here.

Since the tragic news broke out, tributes have been pouring in for Leah, who has been described as a “one of the most loving” people you could meet.

“My heart is absolutely shattered right now for my childhood best friend/sisters Leah Fagan you were one of a kind and one of the most loving people you could ever meet you are gonna be missed so much. I’ll miss our chats you were an amazing mother please watch over your family and friends at this devastating time I’ll love you forever my friend life is so bloody cruel,” paid her childhood friend in tribute.

“Still can't get my head around it such a young beautiful soul gone way too soon watch over your babygirl Heidi she idolised the ground you walked on,” wrote another friend in tribute.

Leah was a member of Ballymun Athletics Club.

“It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the sudden and tragic passing of Leah Fagan, a beloved member of the Ballymun Athletics Club and a recent FIT4LIFE graduate. Leah’s unexpected departure has left the entire club heartbroken. In light of this profound loss, all club sessions have been cancelled for the week as a mark of respect,” paid the club in tribute.

“Leah Fagan had recently embarked on her running journey with the FIT4LIFE program, where she quickly formed a strong circle of friends within the club. Her enthusiasm and determination were evident as she successfully completed the women’s mini marathon, a significant achievement that highlighted her dedication and passion for running. Leah had also set her sights on completing her first half-marathon later this year, a goal that underscored her commitment to her newfound sport.

"The news of Leah’s passing has deeply affected the Ballymun Athletics Club community. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Leah’s presence, her spirit, and her love for running will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

"In these trying times, we encourage everyone to reach out to any of the committee members or coaches if they need support. It is crucial that we come together and support one another through this period of mourning. Leah’s impact on the club was profound, and her memory will continue to inspire us all.

"As we navigate this loss, we hold onto the memories and the joy that Leah brought into our lives. Her achievements in the FIT4LIFE program and her unwavering spirit serve as a testament to her character and resilience. We are truly devastated by her passing, but we are also grateful for the time we had with her.

“Leah Fagan will always hold a special place in our hearts. Her legacy within the Ballymun Athletics Club will be remembered fondly, and her absence will be felt deeply. We will miss Leah dearly, but her spirit will continue to inspire us to pursue our passions and support one another as a community. From all of us at Ballymun Athletics Club, we extend our deepest condolences to Leah’s family and friends. May she rest in peace,” they added.
