Investigation underway following drive-by shooting in Limerick
Witnesses sought after shot is fired at parked car close to city centre

Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a shooting incident in Limerick city.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:45pm on Sunday when when a firearm was discharged in the direction of a parked car at Hyde Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston.
No injuries have been reported and, according to gardai, the suspected offender fled the scene in a silver Nissan Maxima.
No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information on this incident to contact them. In particular, anyone who was in the Hyde Avenue or Ballinacurra, Weston area of Limerick between 7.30pm – 8pm.
Any road who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this available.
