Gardaí and emergency services are said to be currently at the scene of a vehicle on fire on the M1 Northbound after Junction 4 (Donabate) in Co Dublin.
Gardaí have said the road is closed and diversions are in place at Junction 4 Northbound.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area if possible and to consider an alternative route due to large traffic restrictions and delays.
