Gardaí investigating the theft of high value jewellery are seeking the owner of a ring found during the investigation.
According to An Garda Síochána, earlier this month Gardaí were alerted to two men and a woman allegedly trying to offload jewellery without proof of ownership or plausible explanation as to how they came into possession of the pieces.
All three were tracked down and arrested by Gardaí from the Bridewell and they have since been charged.
A garda spokesperson said, "We've managed to return one of the rings to its rightful owner after it was stolen from a home at the beginning of April, but we are now hoping to find the owner of this piece as we’ve not yet been able to identify who it [belongs] to.
"Does it look familiar and you’re missing a similar ring? It might look like one belonging to a friend, family member of colleague and which was taken at some point in recent years or months? It may not necessarily have been taken in Dublin.
"Please get in touch with us at Bridewell Garda Station should you have proof of ownership or any identifiable details."
