A teenage learner driver has been caught driving dangerously on a busy national road.
According to An Garda Síochána, officers on patrol in Gorey, Co Wexford detected the teenager driving dangerously over the speed limit along the N80.
As they set off to stop the driver, they observed him commit several dangerous driving offences while he continued to drive at speed.
When Gardaí stopped the van, they discovered the driver was an unaccompanied learner with no L plates on display.
Additionally, there were three people travelling in the two passenger vehicle.
