Several Dublin taxis fined for breaking regulations

Several taxis have been fined in Dublin after breaking regulations.

Gardai stopped 31 taxis in South Dublin to check if they were properly regulated.

Five of them were fined for non compliance.

"Our Roads Policing Unit in South Dublin were out with @TFIupdates over the weekend to check that taxi’s operating in the area are properly regulated.

"Of the 31 taxi’s checked at this one checkpoint, five received fines for noncompliance," said Garda Traffic on X, formerly known as Twitter.
