RIP: Truck driver aged in his 40s dies in single vehicle collision on M11

A truck driver aged in his 40s has died following a single vehicle collision in Co Wicklow. 

Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene of the collision - which occurred at approximately 1.45pm this afternoon - at Junction 19 on the M11 Arklow. 

The man's body remains at the scene and no other injuries have been reported. 

The southbound lane of the M11 is currently closed with local diversions in place, and Forensic Collision Investigators are attending to conduct an examination of the scene. 

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward, including any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the M11 between 1.15pm and 2.00pm.
