Alert: Potential mould presence in pancakes forces recall of products

The possible presence of mould has led to the recall of protein pancakes from shops in Ireland.

Nanosupps is recalling batches of Ä Protein Pancake.

Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale.

The alert was issued by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) in recent days.

Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batches from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale.

Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batches.

The protein pancakes originated in Hungary and the recall was missed for both the 45g packs of vanilla flavour and pistachio flavour, with best-before dates including May 15, May 16, May 17 and June 20.

The safest thing to do is throw out the items. You can contact the seller to seek a refund, if purchased.
