Gardaí issue fines and confiscate vehicles of two unaccompanied learner drivers

Gardaí have apprehended two unaccompanied learner drivers in separate incidents.

The Dublin East Roads Policing Unit, at different times, observed two vehicles on Dublin's roads displaying L-plates and each being driven unaccompanied.

As a consequence, both learner drivers were fined, and their vehicles seized.

On the seizures, a Garda spokesperson has said: "We’re working hard to keep people safe on their travels this St Brigid’s weekend."
