Gardaí have apprehended two unaccompanied learner drivers in separate incidents.
The Dublin East Roads Policing Unit, at different times, observed two vehicles on Dublin's roads displaying L-plates and each being driven unaccompanied.
As a consequence, both learner drivers were fined, and their vehicles seized.
On the seizures, a Garda spokesperson has said: "We’re working hard to keep people safe on their travels this St Brigid’s weekend."
