Gardaí have taken a car with several “dangerous defects” off the road.
A roads policing unit in Delvin, Co Westmeath, were on patrol when they observed the car with only one working headlight.
When gardaí stopped the vehicle they found a number of dangerous defects, including a "complete lack of power steering".
The car was seized and gardaí have confirmed that a court case is to follow.

Gardaí said: "The Delvin Roads Policing Unit were on patrol when they found this car with only one headlight.
