Heartbroken family appeal for help locating missing pet in Limerick

A HEARTBROKEN family is seeking the public's help to locate Barney, their family pet who went missing in Co Limerick.

Barney, a white and orange mini Shetland, is missing from his home in Lisnagry, on the Newport Road.

In an appeal shared on social media, Barney's family said: "We are all heartbroken. He is white and orange in colour with an orange face and a white marking on his forehead."

According to his owner, as Barney is "very short", he could be mistaken for being a foal.

"He is microchipped. He is currently under weight due to illness. We want to get him back home where he will be safe and warm.
Any information regarding his whereabouts would be appreciated," they added.

If you have any information on Barney's whereabouts, you can contact his family via 0879210459.
