McDonalds unveils new items on Christmas menu kicking off in Ireland this month

McDonalds has unveiled five new items on their Christmas menu kicking off in Ireland this month. 

The highly anticipated menu - which includes a brand-new burger and a return of the iconic Chicken Big Mac - will be rolled out in restaurants across the country on Wednesday November 22 at 11am. 

The Big & Cheesy - made up of a 100% beef patty with two slices of cheese, red onions, crispy onions and cheese sauce in a freshly toasted flour dusted bun - is among the new offerings on the festive menu. 

Bacon can also be added on for that little something extra. 

The Chicken Big Mac - a twist on the classic Big Mac - became a firm favourite in 2022 and on its return in March 2023, and is now back on the menu. 

It's made up of two chicken patties in a triple layered bun with a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles, and the unbeatable Big Mac sauce.  

Also back by popular demand are the Cheese Melt Dippers, made with indulgent Camembert and served with a rich tomato dip. 

McDonalds fans can also try the Chicken Combo, which includes 10 Chicken Selects and a 20 Chicken McNuggets Sharebox, plus four Selects dips and four standard dips. 

For something sweet, try the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry, made with soft dairy ice cream swirled with Galaxy Chocolate Stars and topped with a Galaxy Chocolate sauce. 

Or if caramel is more to your liking, indulge in the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry or the Galaxy Caramel Pie, a crispy chocolate pastry filled with a Galaxy Caramel sauce. 

Anyone wishing to try the new menu will need to be quick as it's only around for a limited six weeks or while stocks last.
