Kirkton House Pumpkin Tealight holder, recalled for risks of 'injuries and/or choking'

HEAT WHICH could cause a Halloween decoration to 'crack' has sparked a product recall from a major Irish retailer.

Aldi has recalled its Kirkton House Pumpkin Tealight holder, for risks of 'injuries and/or choking'.

The CCPC statement reads: "If an incorrect candle size is used, the product can crack due to the heat omitted. This could result in pieces with sharp edges and pieces which could form small parts."

There are approximately 1,536 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

The brand is Kirkton House. The type/number of model is 729956. The barcode is 4061464788312. The batch number is 09/2023.

The affected products were manufactured in 2023.

What to do: Customers should stop using the product and return it to Aldi Stores (Ireland) Ltd for a full refund.

Customers who purchased these products can contact Aldi’s customer service team on 1800 991 828.
