AN IRISH company has recalled a light up mirror vanity unit due to concerns about “electric shock.”
The Range (Ireland) Limited is carrying out a recall on The Port.co Gallery light up mirror vanity unit.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the risk associated with the product is that of electric shock.
“The internal wiring and lamp holder construction within the sealed units do not meet the required safety standards. There is possible access to live parts, resulting in potential electric shock,” CCPC said.
“The brand is The Port.co Gallery. The model is CD0446-4980. The SKU is 319774. The batch numbers are 27281, 27783, 28405 and 30005. The barcode is 3621 4457.”
Approximately 441 products are affected in Ireland.
Customers have been advised to stop using the product immediately and return it to any of The Range store for a full refund.
