A man has died following a road traffic collision between a tractor and a car in Co Louth.
Gardai are appealing for information about the incident on the M1 northbound between Junctions 12 and 14 at Mooremont on Saturday.
The collision occurred at approximately 2am.
A male passenger of the car, aged in his 30s, died at the scene.
Two other male occupants of the car, aged in their 20s and 60s, have been taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
Gardai in Drogheda are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.
