Tributes have been paid to a former Fair City actor who has died in Spain.
Actor Aaron Harris who played the garda character Det Myles Byrne in the popular RTÉ soap opera died in recent days.
He was also known his role as Detective Sergeant Andy Dixon on Wycliffe between 1994 and 1996.
He has also appeared in numerous other TV shows, including 'The Bill', 'Ballykissangel', 'Holby City', and 'Call the Midwife'.
He lived in London, Lahinch in Co Clare, and Limerick.
Tommy O'Neill who played the role of Detective John Deegan led the tributes.
"It's with a very sad heart... I write this, my friend, and partner on Fair City, Aaron Harris.....AKA.....Myles has passed away in Spain.
"We had fun working together... even if I drove him mad at times," Mr O'Neill said.
Tributes were paid by many following the social media post, with one person describing the late actor as "such a lovely man".
Another said: "What an absolute gent. So many fond memories".
