A SERIOUS road collision involving a motorcycle, which left one man with severe injuries, is now being investigated by gardaí.
Emergency services attended the scene of a 'serious' road traffic collision that occurred on the N20 Cork to Limerick road at Buttevant on Thursday, September 7.
At approximately 10.30pm, a single vehicle incident took place involving a motorcycle. A man aged in his 50’s was taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
The road is currently closed for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
Investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward to them.
Any person who was travelling in in the area of Ballybeg and Buttevant, Cork, between 10pm and 11pm, and has video camera footage (including dash-cam) from this time is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
