Woman in her 80s receiving hospital treatment after Dublin e-scooter collision

A woman aged in her 80s is receiving treatment in hospital after being involved in an e-scooter collision in Dublin.

Gardai are investigating the incident that took place between the electric scooter and a pedestrian on Eccles Street on Tuesday at about 3pm.

The woman is being treated for what are believed to be serious injuries at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Any road users who were travelling in the area who have footage, including dash-cam footage, is asked to make this available to the investigation team.
