NEWCASTLE West is expected to be buzzing with life this September, as the famous WestFest returns with one of its strongest line-ups to date.
Not only boasting an exciting line-up of music, thousands of people will make their way to the four-day festival and will be provided with a range of entertainment and food, from Thursday, September 10 to Sunday, September 13.
Renowned for bringing in the top of Ireland’s biggest music talents, WestFest has established itself as one of the leading success stories in Irish music festivals, where last year around 10,000 people rocked to The Coronas.
This year, WestFest will go country style on day one as Derek Ryan and Declan Nerney take the stage. Friday will see Walking on Cars, Róisin Ó and Danny Battles entertaining the masses.
Saturday and Sunday will see UB40, the Riptide Movement, Ryan Sheridan and Hudson Taylor performing their popular hits to the festival-goers.
With the festival outgrowing the town square, the festival has moved to the Demesne with the help of Newcastle West GAA club.
