LIMERICK band the Flag Listeners play a free gig in the Kasbah Social Club this weekend.
The group, fronted by Toucandance’s Eamonn Hehir, play the Dock Road venue - next door to Dolan’s pub - this Saturday night.
Together with John Steele on electric guitar, Sean Fox on bass and Tony Roche on drums, the group will be playing songs from Hehir’s solo albums The Flag Listeners and Blood Mill Road, plus new songs written with John Steele for the Pigtown Fling and some re-vamped Toucandance songs.
Admission is free and the gig takes place at 9pm.
The venue, which is part of the Dolan’s stable, is gearing up to play host to gigs from Cloud Castle Lake - on March 28 - Spies on April 4, O Emperor on April 10, Not Squares on April 11 and The Twilight Sad on May 1.
