THE excellent Crayonsmith call to Limerick on their album release tour this Thursday night.
The band, who have just released the rather tasty Milk Teeth on Out On A Limb Records, play in Bourke’s Bar this Thursday.
Milk Teeth sees Dubliner Ciarán Smith joined by Richie O’Reilly and Wayne Dunlea for their first album as a trio.
Smith formed Crayonsmith initially as a solo project in 2004, self-releasing debut album Stay Loose in 2006, but it was 2008 album White Wonder that brought him to wider attention.
Now a more muscular live proposition, the album is delightfully textured and should get a great run out it in the intimate surrounds of Bourke’s Bar this Thursday night.
