American folk singer Josephine Foster returns to Limerick to play in the beautiful and haunting surrounds of the Franciscan Church this Friday night, the return of the popular live music Wireless Folk series.

American folk singer Josephine Foster returns to Limerick to play in the beautiful and haunting surrounds of the Franciscan Church this Friday night, the return of the popular live music Wireless Folk series.

Foster, an American folk singer-songwriter and musician from Colorado, will be accompanied by Icelandic cellist Gyða Valtýsdóttir and Ailbhe Nic Oireachtaigh on viola.

As well as an impressive solo output, Josephine Foster has also released two albums with the Victor Herro Band.

Support on the night comes from ukelele master Peter Delaney, the brains behind Wireless Folk.

Doors open in the deconsecrated church at 9pm and entry is €8.
