Hermitage Green will play the main stage at the festival
LIMERICK'S Hermitage Green have been announced to join Texas, The Coronas, and Ocean Colour Scene at Ireland’s largest family festival.
Having recently toured sold-out shows across the globe, renowned Limerick band Hermitage Green will grace the main stage of the festival with their energetic blend of folk, rock, and traditional Irish music.
The festival; Kaleidoscope presented by Glenveagh, runs from Friday, July 4 until Sunday, July 6 at Russborough House, Blessington, Co Wicklow.
Rock band Ocean Colour Scene will take to the main stage on Friday, July 4, with Scottish band Texas playing on Saturday, July 5, and homegrown favourites The Coronas on Sunday, July 6.
Festival-goers can also look forward to one of Ireland’s brightest young music stars, Allie Sherlock.
At just nineteen, the talented Cork native has garnered a global social media following of over 14.5 million, gaining worldwide recognition for her live street performances.
Three piece Simple Things will bring their new flavour of pop music with traditional Irish influence to Wicklow’s Russborough House, with Love Sensation also set to entertain the crowds with their unforgettable mix of floor-fillers and live party experience.

Musicians Cathy Davey and Neil Hannon bring their animal welfare charity My Lovely Horse Rescue to the main arena, creating a brand new festival area featuring a ‘smooch a pooch’ kissing booth, ‘doga and pawlates’, ‘wow your wellies’ arts and crafts workshops with more to be announced.
Additionally, Child.Org, a global health charity advocating for maternal and child health in Kenya, will introduce their charity concierge initiative at the three-day camping festival to help families get to and from their camping spots and offer a shuttle service across the festival arena to raise essential funds for the charity.
Shell Holden, head of marketing at Kaleidoscope, spoke on this year’s festival, “For our fifth birthday celebrations, we have introduced new festival features, designed with families in mind to make the family festival experience as comfortable as possible.”
In celebration of the festival's fifth birthday, the event organisers are offering a free weekend or day child ticket to any family with a child turning five this summer.
Festival-goers can enjoy hours upon hours of family fun with this year’s highlights including; unforgettable workshops with the National Reptile Zoo; creative writing and imaginative storytelling with Roddy Doyle and Seán Love’s Fighting Words; sensory play; arts and crafts classes; family sports and wellness activities; theatre workshops; kid’s robotics sessions; and nature and wildlife exploration.
Tickets range from €35 to €75 throughout the weekend, with VIP upgrades available.
