British singer-songwriter David Gray
DAVID Gray is set to return to Limerick as part of his Past and Present tour to perform in King John’s Castle next summer.
The British singer-songwriter spent almost a decade “striving to make a breakthrough”, before receiving worldwide attention when his album White Ladder became one of the best-selling Irish albums of recent decades and established him as an arena-filling artist.
White Ladder was his first of three chart-toppers in six years in the UK, where it became the fifth best-selling album of the 2000s.
He is best known for hits like Babylon, This Year's Love and Sail Away.
With the likes of Ed Sheeran, Adele and Hozier acknowledging his influence, his twelfth and most recent studio album, Skellig, received positive reviews upon its release in 2021.

Mick Dolan said he is “delighted to welcome David Gray back to Limerick”.
“David has a long standing history in Limerick performing in Dolans Warehouse on multiple occasions during his white ladder tour as well as a massive show in Thomond park as special guest to Bob Dylan,” he continued, adding: “This is not to be missed.”
David Gray will perform in King John's Castle on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
