Choir to stage 20th anniversary concert in Adare

Holy Trinity Abbey Choir, Adare will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a concert in the Holy Trinity Abbey Church on Friday, May 15.

All proceeds from the concert will go to Enable Ireland and the church restoration fund.

The choir was founded in 1995 under the directorship of Tracey Fitzgerald.

The choir will be joined on stage by Ann Phelan, violinist with the RTE Concert Orchestra; Jean O’Brien, accompanist; Lukas O’Brien, oboe; Peter O’Mara, tenor; Richella Hughes, soprano; Louise Arnold, Soprano; and the Coláiste na Trócaire Trad Group. The concert starts at 8pm. Tickets will be available from the Adare Parish Office at 061-396172 and from Enable Ireland. 061- 301830 and local outlets.
