LOCAL band Iron Mountain are curating a top class line-up for Dolan’s Warehouse this Friday, to mark the longest day of the year in some style.

The group - who recorded their debut album with Owen Lewis and Noel Hogan last year - have assembled a bill that features top local musicians in the form of eclectic scratch master and producer MynameisjOhn, ukelele whizz Peter Delaney, whimsical folk strummer Lou McMahon, psych-rockers Sea Dog and rockers Deep Blue.

All of this talent - plus the Mountain men themselves of course - is on show for the recession busting sum of €8 this summer solstice night.

There will also be, we are reliably informed, some good grub, beer promotions, free prizes and DJ-ing “until the wee hours”.

Iron Mountain feature top players from acts as diverse as Ivan St John, the aforementioned Sea Dog, Moonboot and more and hope to release their album later this summer.
